Hi, I just came across your blog by researching the Blue Zones. Blue Zones are regions of the world where people commonly live active lives past the age of 100 years. Now you guys have a wonderful website name - rainbow zone - representing the 12 colors and therefore the 12 dimensions of being. I'm getting a bit philosophiclal here - but the point is, you are on a trip to find your new life in a new place. This is definitely also a quest to your inner realms... the rainbow zone... possibly a great name for a new business...
I wish you luck and happiness, peace and insight, fulfilment and abundance. Isabel (living in Bern, Switzerland)
P.S. Some years ago we were thinking of emigrating to Canada, namely Vancouver, but left the idea. We love our Swiss roots and enjoy travelling the world with our company UnityAlive and our message of how to manage one's life - comprising all levels of being.

Hey. Mr G,

I passed the proverbial pen over to Mark since this is his neck of the woods. He hasn't been inspired to fill in the details.
But we will (hopefully) be heading out on the next leg of the journey tomorrow, weather and extra drivers permitting, so I'll try to get things fired up again.

Hey Mel!

Scooted through Northern Ontario pretty darn fast as the weather was cooperating for the most part and we wanted to take advantage of that. Besides, we probably zoomed by at about 12:30 a.m. so the place was likely all rolled up. Once past Wawa, we didn't stop anywhere but Marathon for a quick sleep, a gas up and coffee and off we went again.

And then we hit Winnipeg, Manitoba. Yeesh!!! Holy doodle is that place cold!! -13 with strong wind made it -25. Why oh why would anyone want to live there??!? This boy does not care for cold weather one bit.

I hear you guys out east are having great weather these days. We got out right in time. And it's been +6ºC or thereabouts here in Southern Alberta for several days, supposed to get to 9 tomorrow. Gotta love them Chinooks!

Hi Sara!

Well, we're in Leavitt, AB (about a half hour north of the US border) and will be here for a couple more weeks staying with Mark's mom, a.k.a. "Grandma Chicken". So far, lots of nice folks and no flat tires so we're doing good!
